WITH A UNIQUE WEBSITE ACHIEVE YOUR GOALS WP Design

Think about these before you build a website!

Think about these before you build a website! Design2wpWhat to prepare before designing a website?

The purpose of a website is to build trust, brand awareness and possibly sales. So you need to think carefully about what you want to achieve by creating and running a website.

Think about the way your small or medium-sized business operates.

  1. What is the purpose of a website for your company?
To sell products/services? To increase your revenue?
To strengthen and promote your brand?
To make customer contact and customer service more efficient?
To write articles and blog in a way that builds customer confidence?
To bring requests for proposals? To increase customer quality?
  2. Who are your customers? Formulate what (narrowest possible) market you are addressing!
  3. What problem does it solve for your company’s customers?
  4. Your mission statement
Why is your company the best choice to solve the problem outlined?
  5. Describe as briefly as possible what solutions your company offers to a given problem so that your customer can make the best possible decision.
  6. How will your customers’ lives be changed by your company’s involvement? What root cause problem does your company’s solution solve?
  7. Why is your company’s solution trustworthy? What guarantees can you offer? What references do you have?

Decide what kind of website you want!

Which of the following solutions would be the closest to show your processes?

  • You could just have a “business card” website, which is a one-page site where you introduce yourself, what you do, your contact details and a contact form for those interested to fill it in.
  • A brand website where, in addition to a detailed description of the product or service, there are several sub-pages such as About Us, Products/Services, References, Contact Us, Blog.
  • Website with webshop, where in addition to the Brand page features, you can also access e-commerce.
  • Landing page, one page, mainly for marketing campaigns.

Think about these before you build a website! Design2wpTasks before starting website design

  • Do you have an easy-to-remember domain name reserved that best describes your company?
  • Do you have the content, images, descriptions, articles, logo, slogan, etc., designed and created for the website? It is a good idea to collect these before starting the website design. If you do not have the possibility to do so, we will be happy to help!

I need this kind of help

  • The content provided will meet the web requirements
    High resolution images
    Vector (fully zoomable) logo design
Adequate quality and quantity of useful descriptions for products/services
Articles (at least 1000 – 1500 words, well structured, with a punchy title)
    Short descriptions
    Introductory text
Photographs of colleagues taken by a professional photographer (if they agree to be featured on the website)
Eye-catching titles written by a marketer
SEO compliant keywords, branded images to help search engine robots find the website
  • What features do you want on your website?
  • You want to bring your company’s existing print media image to the web, or you want a unique look?
  • When designing the website, should you also think about the future–, what improvements will be made to the company in 5 years? What are the ideas? Can the website be developed later in the desired direction?
  • Who will update the content, update the price list, add new colleagues, contact and keep in touch with customers?
  • What payment options should the webshop have (SimplePay, PayPal)?
  • Which delivery company will you contract with (Post, MPL, GLS, UPS, Fedex, USPS)
  • Does the company have an Online Marketing strategy? Who will advertise the site and where, who will manage the advertising space? No one will “find” the finished website on their own; the website alone will not generate revenue, so online marketing is needed.
  • Who will the website be aimed at, is there a well-defined target audience? If you have already answered this question at the beginning of this article, we are very happy! 🙂 If not, please answer the remaining questions as well!
  • What are the main qualities of your company that you want to display?
  • How much traffic do you plan to have on the website?
  • What are the website features of your competitors?
  • How much revenue do you expect from the website; how much demand for your product/service?
  • How much does your company want to spend on the web presence?
